About the Author
Mia Hamm debuted for the U.S. women's national soccer team in 1987 at age 15, the youngest player ever, and has been honored as U.S. Soccer's Female Player of the Year an unprecedented five consecutive times. She is married to Marine Corps pilot Christian Corey, and serves as a volunteer assistant coach of the UNC women's soccer team.She lives in Chapel Hill, NC.
